TASC2023 and ICUDDR2023 joint-conference is being held over 3 days as follows:

Day two: Thursday, August 10th. Start time: 9:00am. Wrap time: 4.30pm

Who attends the TASC2023 conference?
Attendees are addiction scholars, researchers for substance use and abuse, health professionals, justice professionals, drug policy implementers, civil society responding to drug and addiction and media to meet and learn more.

You can expect each session to be approximately 60-90 minutes in length.

Yes, simultaneous translation English to Thai will be provided for all sessions presented in Thong Khaw 1 room

Are there any networking functions organized?
Absolutely! On Day1 evening of Wednesday, August 9th you can enjoy the welcome reception and connect with your fellow delegates. This is scheduled for 5.00pm – 7.30pm

All meeting attendees are invited to attend the welcome reception on Wednesday August 9th evening. Attendance is included with your registration.

Will I receive copies of the presentations for review later?
A proceedings/book of abstracts will be printed out and put in the conference bag. The e-book version will be available to download from the conference website. All presentations remain the intellectual property of the authors/presenters. Copies of the abstracts and PowerPoint presentations are available by kind permission of the authors/ presenters and it is strictly prohibited to copy, distribute or reproduce any information, images or data included in these presentations without the prior written consent of the authors/presenters.

How do I submit an abstract for TASC2023?
We are delighted to invite researchers, health and addiction professionals to submit an abstract and present your poster. Calls for abstract submissions for TASC2023 are released early June until July 25th. Submit online at www.saafth.org/tasc2023.

May I submit more than 1 abstract?
Yes, you may. Please note, abstracts should relate to research findings and/or experiences and practice on addiction science, drug policy and implementation, workforce development, alternative approach to drug education and prevention as well as others related to substance use disorder.

What is included in the registration fee?
You can access to all sessions and welcome reception except site visits and Day3 workshop that require advance reservation on first come first serve basis. You will also receive the conference materials, daily lunches, 6 coffee breaks, conference bag and certificate of participation.

Are hotel accommodations included in the registration fee?
The cost of the hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations and travel costs.

When is the deadline for registration?
You may register at any time, up until the day of the conference.

Are meals included with my registration?
Daily lunch also morning and afternoon coffee breaks will be provided through 3 days of the joint-conference plus cocktail dinner at the welcome reception on Day1 evening.

We encourage all attendees to register for the conference in advance. This allows us to plan according for the appropriate number of attendees and manage any hospitality needed. As a bonus, TASC2023 offers an early-bird discount and group discount for those who register by the designated deadline. Where is the conferences being held?
TASC2023 and ICUDDR2023 joint-conference will be held at Green Namman CMU Residence, Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai Province. The conference venue is located in the neighborhood of commercial area at Nimmanhaemin Road, known as Chiang Mai’s upscale shopping district and considered to be the city’s trendiest area. Also called “Coffee Street,” the area is home to some of Thailand’s best coffee shops, as well as galleries, restaurants, and chic bars.
